Day 01 : Chandigarh - Narkanda ( 06 hrs).

Your comfortable zone ends in Chandigarh & adventurous part starts as you start travelling on road less routes. You will be driving on windy roads of Shimla ,over foothills of Himalayas with Pine forest & Apple orchards all around till Narkanda. O/n in Narkanda.

Day 02: Narkanda- Sangla ( 06 hrs).

This day we go down to Sutlej valley near Rampur. The road meanders through beautiful landscape of Kinnaur along the bank of river till we reach Karcham , the confluence of Sutlej & Baspa river. Huge Dam for Hydro eclectric power is there. After crossing the Dam , continue to drive along Bapsa river to enter Sangla Valley-   The most beautiful valleys of Himalayas. O/n in Sangla.

Day 03 : Sangla – Chitkul to Kalpa ( 04 hrs).

Today we move on to the last village of India –Chitkul before Tibet. In summer the wild roses & high mountains along the head of valley gives a treat to nature lovers. From here we return back to Kharcham  & drive along Indo –Tibet Highway to reach Kalpa . It is a beautiful Himalayan village , offering best views of Snow Peaks right across the valley looming in front of us. Kinner Kailash peak is one of the abodes Of lord shiva is right here. O/n in Kalpa.

Day 04: Kalpa – Nako- Gue – Tabo ( 07 to 08 hrs).

This day from Kalpa, our upward moment continues on upstream of Sutlej with dramatic change in landscape with every mile. The barren mountains indicates the we are close to Spiti Valley. At Nako will found aritifical lake. Later we proceed to Gue to see India’s own Naturally Preserved Mummy & reach Tabo. o/n in Tabo.

Day 05 : Tabo - Dhankar - Lhalun -  Mudh - Kaza (2 hrs).

Tabo itself has an important monastery rich in Murals, Frescoes & paintings. This is a UNESCO world heritage site and almost 1000 years old.  Drive to Dhankar Monestry, perching on the edge of a 300m cliff is a amazing sight. Walk an hour to Dhankar lake,  above Dhankar village which will give trekking instincts to High Himalayan trekking. Continue to drive to small village Lhalung , situated on slopes of Lingti valley is place for most beautiful monestry of Spiti- Sekhong Gompa ( the Golden Temple).

Later drive to Pin valley which is formed by the the tributary of Spiti river. Pin river  originates in deep in Tarns Himalayan mountains leading to very ancient trade route & popular trek of Bhaba pass. This is the home of amazing Snow Leopard with other Trans Himalayan animals & rare birds in National park. We shall be driving through the beautiful valley upto last village Of Mudh till Kaza.

Day 06: Kaza –Kee - Kibber-Gette - Kaza (3 hrs).

Without a visit to the Iconic monestry at Kee , your Spiti trip is incomplete. The main shrine is build on the top of the hill and surrounded by residential quarters, administrative buildins in form of Pyramid. You can spend whole day in photography  of the magnificent spot. O/n in Kaza.

Day 07: Kaza - Hikkim - Komic - Langza / Kaza(4 hrs).

Drive to Komic ( 4580 m) on twisting roads which is highest village in the world with motorable road. The world’s Highest post office at Hikkim (4440m) is also here. Feel the joy of sending post to your loved one . Continue driving on high roads 4300m to beautiful village Langza.  Peak Mt. CCKN can be seen in the background.

Day 08 : Langza / Kaza - Chandratal (5 hrs).

Today we will start to proceed Chandratal ( moon lake) which is Hidden Jewel or Blue Jewel of Himalayas.  The road take you back towards Manali, upto Kunzum pass , before heading upstream of Chandra river. You have walk from the main road to reach the lake. Take a round of the lake to feel the true glory.

Day 09 : Chandratal – Manali (07hrs).

From today our return journey starts by driving on some most beautiful roads of Himalayas. We come down along Chandra river with several snow peaks, many waterfalls, miles long Glaciers & rivulets. After crossing Rohtang pass  we finally descend to Manali. O/n in Manali.

Day 10: Manali – Chandigarh (10 hrs).

The last day you proceed to Chandigarh with lots of  memories  of  an adventurous journey over rocky river bed, Boulders and streams  and lots of friends in Spiti valley.
