Detailed Itinerary

Day 01. Guwahati

Arrive Guwahati by Air or rail , meet our representative & transfer to the hotel. This day is for relaxing. In the evening boat ride in the Brahmaputra river. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 02. Guwahati – Bomdila.

After breakfast drive to Bhalukpung  ( 240 kms /05 hrs) via Tezpur . After doing entry formalities for entering Arunachal Pradesh, reach Tipi Orchidarium. This is the place for highest collections of orchids in India.

Later drive to Bomdila ( 100 kms /04 hrs). Check-in the hotel. Overnight in hotel.

Day 03: Bomdila

Early morning visit three Monastries of Bomdilla. The main monastery is the replica of Tsongo monastery of Tibet, the middle is close to Stadium, both together are called Lower Gompa. The third Monastry is Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Ling Monastery which is little  far from the town.  The is called  Uppar Gompa.

After Breakfast drive to Tawang ( 180 kms/ 06 hrs) through beautiful Dirang village of Monpa. On the way  14 kms ahead of Sela pass, is the Jaswant Garh war memorial for 1962 Indo-Chinese war. Take a short break for tea & continue to drive to Tawang via Sela pass. Check-in the hotel & relax. Overnight in hotel.

Day 04. Tawang

After breakfast, visit 350 years old  Buddhist monastery locally called Gompa. Later visit Ani Gompa locally know as nunneries & Urgelling monastery which is  460 years old . This was build by Lama Urghen Sangpom Bhumthan & considered the birthplace of  His holiness 6^th Dalai Lama.

Evening is for Monpa tribal & Lama dances. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 05. Tawang

After breakfast start for the excursion of Monpa trible village to understand local people& visit to Sangetsar Lake ( Madhuri ). Enjoy cultural activities & overnight in the hotel.

Day 06. Tawang – Dirang

After breakfast, leave Tawang  Enroute visiting  Nuranang Falls in small village called Jang & Sela top. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 07. Diarang.

After Breakfast get ready to explore Sangti Valley & Dirang Monpa Village. This place is rich in scienic beauty & also place to see Blacked necked cranes from China in winter. Overnight in Dirang.

Day 08. Dirang – Nameri National Park.

After breakfast drive to Nameri National Park 200 kms ( 05 hrs). Check in the hotel &relax. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 09. Kaziranga

Early trekking inside nameri forest with guide & armed forest guard. After lunch drive to Kaziranga. check in the hotel. overnight in Kaziranga hotel.

Day 10. Kaziranga

Early morning elephant safari to Kaziranga. After breakfast first jeep safari. After lunch second jeep safari. Overnight in hotel.

Day 11. Kaziranga

Morning & after jeep safari in various zones of Kaziranga. Overnight in hotel.

Day 12. Kaziranga- Guwahati

After breakfast drive to Guwahati ( 220 kms / 05 hsr ) & check in the hotel.

Day 13. Guwahati

Visit to Kamakhya Temple & other areas of interest in Guwahati. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 14.Guwahati

After breakfast transfer to the airport/ rail station to connect onward journey.
