A journey through the heart of India. Join the Madhya Pradesh Heritage and Spiritual Tour, a journey through the heart of India. Discover the rich history, magnificent architecture, and spiritual significance of key destinations. From the forts of Gwalior and the temples of Khajuraho to the spiritual centers of Ujjain and Omkareshwar, this tour offers a comprehensive exploration of Madhya Pradesh's heritage and spirituality

Day 01: Arrive in Gwalior
Arrive in Gwalior by air or train and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy some sightseeing if time permits. Relax and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 02: Gwalior Sightseeing
Explore Gwalior Fort, built by Raja Maan Singh Tomar in the 8th century on a steep hill called Gopachal. Visit Gurjari Mahal and Man Mandir inside the fort. Other attractions include Hathi Pól, Sas Bahu Ka Mandir, Teli Ka Mandir, Karna Mahal, Vikram Mahal, and Garuda Monument. Don’t miss the magnificent Sikh temple built in memory of the sixth Sikh guru, Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Gwalior – Datia – Jhansi – Chanderi
After breakfast, move to Chanderi with visits to Datia Fort and Jhansi Fort along the way. Datia Fort, built by Maharaj Bir Singh Deo, showcases Mughal and Rajputana architecture. Jhansi Fort, built by Veer Singh Ju Deo in 1613, is known for its historical significance, especially during the 1857 uprising. After visiting these forts, drive to Orchha (20 kms). Overnight stay at an Orchha hotel.

Day 04: Orchha – Khajuraho
After breakfast, explore the Orchha Fort complex, including Jahangir Palace, Raja Mahal, Rai Praveen Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, and the Cenotaphs. Later, drive to Khajuraho (3 hours). Overnight stay at a Khajuraho hotel.

Day 06: Khajuraho Sightseeing
Visit the Western and Eastern groups of temples in Khajuraho, known for their sensational architecture. In the afternoon, visit Panna National Park or relax. Overnight stay at a Khajuraho hotel.

Day 07: Khajuraho – Chanderi (225 kms)
After breakfast, drive to Chanderi (6 hours). Overnight stay at a Chanderi hotel.

Day 08: Chanderi Sightseeing
Enjoy this historic and peaceful small town with sightseeing of Chanderi Fort, Koshak Mahal, Chanderi Museum, Khandagiri (Jain site), Shehzadi Ka Roza, Badal Mahal, Kati Ghati, Jama Masjid, and Raja Rani Mahal. Chanderi is also famous for handmade sarees. Overnight stay at a Chanderi hotel.

Day 09: Chanderi – Sanchi (162 kms)
After breakfast, drive to Sanchi (4 hours), with a visit to Udaigiri Caves famous for unique rock carvings from the 4th and 5th centuries AD. Later, drive to Sanchi (30 minutes). Overnight stay at a Sanchi hotel.

Day 10: Sanchi – Ujjain (236 kms)
In the morning, visit Sanchi to see the well-preserved Buddhist Stupas. The remains of Buddhist saints Sariputra and Mahamodgilya are also preserved here. Later, drive to Ujjain (5 hours). Overnight stay at a Ujjain hotel.

Day 11: Ujjain Sightseeing
Visit Mahakaleshwar Shiva Temple, Sandipani Muni Ashram, Mangal Nath Temple, Kal Bhairab Temple, Ram Ghat of Shipra River, Jantar Mantar (the Observatory), and Chintman Ganesh Temple. Overnight stay at a Ujjain hotel.

Day 12: Ujjain – Omkareshwar (140 kms)
After breakfast, drive to Omkareshwar (3 hours). Visit the Omkareshwar Temple, Siddhanath Temple, Zero Point, 24 Avatars group of temples, Kajal Rani Cave, and Gauri Siddhanath Temple. Overnight stay at an Omkareshwar hotel.

Day 13: Omkareshwar Maheshwar Mandu
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, take a scenic 1.5 hour drive to Maheshwar. Here, you can visit the beautiful Narmada Ghat and explore its serene surroundings. Don't miss out on the chance to see the magnificent Maheshwar Fort as well as Ahilya Bai Fort and Palace. Take some time to immerse yourself in history at the Maheshwar Museum before heading over to Shri Raj Rajeshwar Temple and Akhileshwar Temple for a spiritual experience. And don't forget to check out the famous handloom weaving industry that has put Maheshwar on the map. In the afternoon, continue your journey with a one-hour drive to Mandu where you'll spend an unforgettable night at a comfortable hotel

Day 14: Mandu Sightseeing
Explore Mandu, an ancient fort city known for its Afghan architectural heritage. Visit Jahaz Mahal, Hoshang Shah’s Tomb, Hindola Mahal, Baz Bahadur Palace, Jami Masjid, Rani Rupmati Palace, Ashrafi Mahal, Rupmati Pavilion, Lohani Caves, Rewa Kund, Darya Khan’s Tomb, Taveli Mahal, Bagh Buddhist Cave, and more. After sightseeing, drive to Indore (1 hour). Overnight stay at an Indore hotel.

Day 15: Indore Sightseeing and Departure
Enjoy some local street food in Indore, explore the city, and later, transfer to the airport or train station for your departure.
